More solidity and impact without losing the character of the drums
Drum Replacement and Layering intervenes on drum sounds that are weak, inconsistent, or poorly suited to the production. Samples are chosen and integrated based on the genre, tuning, and performance, avoiding a uniform result or one disconnected from the musician.
What is included
- analysis of original sounds and mix objectives;
- selection of coherent samples for the agreed-upon elements;
- accurate triggering and alignment on transients;
- phase and polarity control relative to the original microphones;
- management of dynamics and velocity variations;
- layering parallelo oppure sostituzione, secondo la qualità del materiale;
- controllo di falsi trigger, rulli, ghost note e passaggi veloci;
- consegna delle tracce processate e, quando utile, dei layer separati;
- one revision cycle.
Required materials
Tracce di batteria separate, premix, BPM e una o due reference. I file devono essere allineati e privi di clipping. Se sono disponibili microfoni close, overhead e room, vanno consegnati per verificare la coerenza del risultato.
Timeline
Estimated delivery within 2–3 business days. Il prezzo copre l’intervento standard sugli elementi principali; configurazioni molto estese vengono valutate prima dell’inizio.
Exclusions
Non comprende quantizzazione completa della batteria, editing multitraccia, mix del brano o programmazione di una nuova parte. Il servizio migliora il suono dell’esecuzione esistente senza sostituire il lavoro del musicista.
File submission, processing, and delivery
After your purchase, you will receive a secure link to upload the materials for Professional Drum Replacement and Layering. Files must start from the same point, be clearly named, free of unintentional clipping, and accompanied by BPM, sample rate, reference audio, and notes on artistic choices. Processing begins upon validation of the complete material; missing or non-compliant files may require a new export.
Includes up to 3 revisions consistent with the initial brief. A revision corrects balances or details of the delivered work; it does not include new recordings, arrangement changes, full file replacement, unexpected editing, or a radical shift from the approved direction. Delivery includes the formats specified in the product page; sessions, presets, multitracks, and source files are not included unless expressly indicated.
