The final step between mixing and release
Professional Stereo Mastering puts the finishing touches on a completed mix and prepares it for digital distribution. This process works on the entire stereo file to enhance balance, solidity, definition, and translation across various playback systems, while preserving the track's identity and useful dynamics.
What is included
- technical inspection of the premaster and reporting of any critical blocking issues;
- correction of the overall tonal balance;
- management of dynamics, transients, and perceived density;
- potential harmonic saturation and refinement of the stereo image;
- low frequency control, mono compatibility, and phase check;
- loudness optimization according to genre and material;
- verification of peaks, true peaks, clipping, and headroom;
- one revision cycle;
- delivery of the high-resolution WAV master and, upon request, a listening version.
How to prepare the premaster
Send a WAV file at the project's native resolution, preferably 24 or 32 bit, without destructive limiters on the master and without clipping. There is no need to normalize or artificially lower the volume: just leave clean headroom. Attach a reference track and specify the genre, destination, and desired result.
Timeline
File submission, processing, and delivery
After your purchase, you will receive a secure link to upload the materials for Professional Stereo Mastering. Files must start from the same point, be clearly named, free of unintentional clipping, and accompanied by BPM, sample rate, reference audio, and notes on artistic choices. Processing begins upon validation of the complete material; missing or non-compliant files may require a new export.
Includes up to 3 revisions consistent with the initial brief. A revision corrects balances or details of the delivered work; it does not include new recordings, arrangement changes, full file replacement, unexpected editing, or a radical shift from the approved direction. Delivery includes the formats specified in the product page; sessions, presets, multitracks, and source files are not included unless expressly indicated.
